A Nitrogen Fertilizer Facility Able to Produce
Up To 4,000 M/T of Granulated Urea Daily

Our Mission

Located in the Republic of Panama

Access to optimal shipping lanes

NB Regeneration is acting as a developer and is creating a global consortium to build a nitrogen fertilizer facility in the Republic of Panama that will be capable of producing approximately 4,000 M/T of granulated urea on a daily basis.

NB Regeneration intends to focus on the single most important chemical fertilizer: granulated urea (GU). GU supplies nitrogen to the soil, and must be applied every year, ensuring a steady demand for it even if demand were not.

Competitive Advantage

NB Regeneration has three highly significant competitive advantages: state-of-the-art production techniques, cost savings capabilities, and a near-optimal location.

The production of GU requires large amounts of ammonia, which is awkward and expensive to transport. NB Regeneration is working out agreements with neighboring suppliers to purchase petroleum coke (petcoke), and high quality coal that can be used to generate ammonia on-site at a much reduced cost. Only one other plant in North America uses this approach, and has found it to be very profitable.

NB Regeneration will locate in the Republic of Panama. Not only does this have the advantage in reduced taxes, the immediate access to the Panama Canal gives the company the best possible conditions for shipping anywhere in the world. This is particularly useful since the fastest growth in GU usage is in Eastern Asia, and no other major production facility of GU is any closer than Panama.
